It is all change for Pinecones; changing their name to the slight more mouthy Arbor Labor Union and signing to the iconic Sup Pop for their new album I Hear You, out 13th May. The label change has done them wonders, generating a renewed buzz in their fuzzy grunge sound but at the same time the unapologetic foursome have lost nothing in the music as they unveil single 'Belief'd'. In it their offbeat garage rock remains every bit as jangling and jagged with the vocals of lead singer Bo Orr sounding as carefree and recognisable as ever. With Sub Pop's reputation and Arbor Labor Union's grunge sound, this is a match made in rock and roll heaven. - SJ
